Principal's Message
Welcome to the Hollenbeck Middle School website. The purpose of this webpage is to provide parents, students, and our school community with easy access to a wealth of information on our Hollenbeck's School programs, policies, and activities.
Hollenbeck School is a great place to teach and learn! Our teachers are committed to a high quality learning experience focused on the individual needs of each child. We are always striving to develop our students for a career, be college-ready, and prepare them to face the challenges of the 21st century.
Hollenbeck Middle School is located in Boyle Heights, and serves approximately 1,100 students grades 6-8. We are part pf The Partnership for Los Angeles Schools network. Hollenbeck has a Science, Technology, Math, and Medicine Magnet and offers a linked learning program, with students working in interdisciplinary teams to explore computer science concepts including programming and robotics. Hollenbeck has been serving the Boyle Heights community since 1913, and combines engaging instructional activities and events to create a stimulating learning environment. Hollenbeck Middle School feeds into the Boyle Heights "Zone of Choice," which includes Roosevelt High School.
Our primary goal at Hollenbeck is to help all students achieve their dreams and find success in pursuing life goals. We are unconditionally committed to providing the best possible educational program to our students. We believe that there are numerous opportunities, both within our curricula and through extracurricular activities, for our students to gain the skills that will allow them to be successful in their lives.
